Cobepa is an independent, privately-held investment company with a net worth of EUR 1.1 billion.
Since 1957, we have been active as an equity investor throughout Europe, having gained broad experience and solid expertise via a large variety of transactions in a wide range of industries.

Investment strategy
Cobepa’s investment strategy is centred around two main types of investments:
- Growth capital investments, in which Cobepa takes significant minority stakes
- Buy-out transactions, in which Cobepa acquires control or co-control of the company alongside the management and other investors
We also participate in strategic partnerships which are active in attractive segments which complement our own investment focus.
Investment criteria
Cobepa invests in established companies with a solid business model, sustainable market position and strong management team. Other important criteria relate to cash flow generation and international presence or development potential.

History
Cobepa started its investment activities in Belgium in 1957 as a dedicated subsidiary of Banque Paribas. Leveraging upon our longstanding experience, excellent reputation and strong expertise, we have been operating as a fully independent investment company since 2004.
