Fast growing business

International SOS was founded in 1985 by Arnaud Vaissié and Dr. Pascal Rey-Herme, recognising great demand for international standards of healthcare among the expatriate community and international organizations in Asia. In the years that followed, the Company has witnessed fast organic growth, gradually expanding its operations across the world. In recent years, it further broadened its service offering through several strategic acquisitions and partnerships (including Control Risks, MedAire and VIPDesk, to name a few). 

Partnership with the founders

In December 2007, Cobepa acquired a 18% stake in International SOS, providing the Company’s founders with an adequate solution to continue the growth with the support of a stable shareholder.
