Jean-Marie has an MBA from the Solvay Business School (Brussels). He started his career with Cobepa in 1988, developing the M&A activities, and was responsible for Cobepa's investments as member of the Management Board. He was a partner of PAI Partners and non-executive director of Mobistar and GIB Group.
Jean-Marie is non-executive director of Belron, Bank Degroof, Carmeuse, International SOS, JF Hillebrand, Sapec, SGG, Zetes and Elia.
Dirk has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Technology Delft. He started his career with RBS in London where he was director of leveraged finance. In 2003, he joined PAI Partners where he worked on buy-out transactions. He joined Cobepa in 2005 and is primarily focusing on executing transactions.
Jean-Marc is a graduate from the ESCP Europe Business School in Paris and holds a chartered accountant DESCF diploma. He started his career with KPMG (Paris) in 1992 in the industry & transaction services sectors. In 2000, he joined CVC Capital Partners and became Managing Director of CVC Paris in 2005. He joined Cobepa in 2010.
Jean-Marc is non-executive director of Carrières du Hainaut and Novescia and President of the Board of TechnoMarine.
Xavier has an MBA from the Solvay Business School. He started his career in 1988 as adviser to the Belgian Vice-Prime Minister in charge of the Budget, before joining Cobepa in 1991 where he led the Belgian Corporate Finance activities. Between 2001 and 2011, he worked for Dexia Group where he held various executive management positions, lastly as Vice-Chairman of the Management Board and CFO of Dexia Bank Belgium, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dexia Insurance Belgium. Since May 2011, Xavier is Chief Financial Officer of Cobepa.

Alexandre Schmitz

Alexandre has a Master's Degree in Economics from the Université Catholique de Louvain and is a Certified European Financial Analyst. He started his career in 1995 as analyst with Bank Degroof and joined Cobepa in 1999. He was an investment director of PAI Partners.
Alexandre is non-executive director of Princess and Zetes, and CEO of BeCapital.
Chantal has degrees in law and economic law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She was an assistant lawyer with Simont & Simont and worked for Meusinvest. She joined Cobepa in 1988.
Chantal is in charge of Cobepa's legal and administrative affairs.
Hiram holds a Master's Degree in Business Engineering and a Master in Operations & Technology Management from Ghent University. Having started his professional career in 2002 as IT project manager for an export company in Nigeria, he joined Fortis early 2003 as international management trainee. He subsequently focused on M&A transactions as senior associate with Fortis Corporate Finance & Capital Markets (Brussels). He joined Cobepa in 2007.
Hiram is non-executive director of Carrières du Hainaut, d&b audiotechnik and Optelec.
Gilles holds a Master’s Degree in Business Engineering from Solvay Business School. He started his career in 2004 at ING Group as a management trainee. He subsequently focused on supporting the development of ING in South West Europe. He moved to JP Morgan in 2007 as an analyst in the M&A team covering the Benelux countries, and joined Cobepa in 2009.
Aurélien holds a Master's Degree in Business Engineering from Solvay Business School. He started his career with Deloitte in 2003 as a financial auditor. In 2006, he moved to the Corporate Finance department of Deloitte where he focused on M&A transactions. Aurélien joined Cobepa in 2010.
Ramona holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master in Financial Management from Vlerick. She started her career in 2004 in the Corporate Finance department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, and moved to JP Morgan Consumer & Retail Advisory early 2007. In 2009, she joined the investment team at Enfinity, focusing on solar energy projects and the financing thereof. Ramona joined Cobepa in 2011.
Stefan graduated from K.U. Leuven with a Master’s degree in Applied Economics. He started his career in 2009 at Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services where he worked on valuation, business modeling and M&A engagements for small and medium sized enterprises and multinationals. He joined Cobepa in 2011.
